In the Community

 

 

ABOUT-Consulting is always searching for ways to assist our community through mentoring, organizational development, and donations. Some of the activities we have sponsored are as follows:

 

• Every year ABOUT-Consulting adopts a needy family during the holidays and provides a holiday meal, clothes, and toys for the children.

 

• ABOUT-Consulting assisted an employee who lost their home to a fire.  We made sure that she and her children had all of the necessary things to get through this horrific experience.

 

• ABOUT-Consulting adopted a family of five that lost everything in hurricane Katrina. This was a family of five who lost everything and the mother was six months pregnant at the time. The ABOUT-Consulting Team provided Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner along with clothes, gifts, and toys for the entire family. This was a company effort and everyone contributed to help this family rebuild their life.

 

• ABOUT-Consulting assisted a family that was informed one of their famility members was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. They did not have the funds to pay for a very expensive medicine that was not covered under their healthcare plan. We made a contribution to assist this family.

 

• ABOUT-Consulting contributes to local theater and events in the area.
